Security, ERP Compliance, and Workflow Management
Sports events are considered temporary public venues subject to strict requirements: structural stability reports for grandstands, barrier layout plans, ballast calculations, M2 fire safety compliance, and emergency access. Our technical department prepares all required documentation, and our site managers regularly collaborate with safety commissions (Nice, Monaco, municipalities in the Var department, and municipalities in the Alpes-Maritimes department).
Crowd management is essential at sporting events. We combine Vauban barriers (spectator aisles), Héras barriers (backstage areas), privacy panels (VIP and press areas), and white barriers for premium areas. This versatility allows us to accommodate even the most complex setups.

Why do major sporting events choose us?
Three factors make all the difference. First, capacity (25,000 grandstand seats + 1 km of barriers + 2,000 m² of tents available simultaneously). Second, our expertise in managing site-specific challenges: sensitive surfaces (Place Masséna), rapid setup (2 days for the Iron Man, Tour de France route), and Monaco rooftops. Finally, our in-depth knowledge of the organizers: we’ve been equipping the same iconic events for years, ensuring seamless coordination. For an overview of our catalog, visit Our Equipment. Frequently asked questions
Find all the answers to your technical questions here regarding the logistical planning of your sporting events on the French Riviera.
How many grandstand seats can you set up at a sporting event?
Our fleet includes 25,000 removable SAMIA grandstand seats available simultaneously. Our flagship setup: 10,000 seats along the Nice Carnival Parade Route. For larger events, we mobilize our network of manufacturing partners.
How long does it take to set up a sports bleacher?
For a grandstand with 1,000 to 3,000 seats, allow 1 to 2 days, depending on the venue. For large-scale events (Iron Man, Tour de France, Carnival), we deploy multiple teams working day and night to ensure the public can arrive on time. A preliminary site survey confirms the schedule.
Do you provide the ERP safety report for a sporting event?
Yes. Our technical department prepares the structural stability report for SAMIA grandstands, the layout plan, the structural ballast calculations, the M2 fire safety data sheet, the barrier layout plan, and the evacuation routes and emergency access points. Our site managers have extensive experience working with safety commissions in the French Riviera and Monaco.
Can you set up an event on a fragile surface or an urban course?
Yes. Our SAMIA equipment is suitable for use on delicate surfaces (Place Masséna for the Iron Man) thanks to appropriate ballast and specialized protective measures. For urban courses (Tour de France, marathons), we set up grandstands and barriers at strategic points while complying with traffic and access restrictions.
Do you work with sports event producers and organizers?
Yes. We are the regular logistics partner for event organizers on the French Riviera and around the world, including Iron Man, the Monaco Grand Prix, the organizers of the Tour de France, SailGP, and Jumping de Gassin. Our role involves providing equipment and technical teams, either as a subcontractor or directly, depending on the contractual arrangements.
