Equipment suitable for festivals and cultural events
Festivals use a specific combination of equipment designed to accommodate the general public, manage crowds safely, and quickly set up stages and backstage areas.
- 25,000-seat grandstands: SAMIA Match shell seating, 0.25 m elevation difference, walkways, raised sections. Flagship configuration at the Nice Carnival Parade (10,000 seats + 3 structures measuring 15 x 20 m).

- Stretch Tents: 54 to 525 m², available in several sizes that can be connected. Featured setup at the Zamna Base Nature Festival in Fréjus.
- Vauban and Hérasbarriers: 1 km of barrier length available for crowd control, security perimeters, and separation of VIP areas.

Security, Workflow Management, and ERP System
Festivals are temporary public-access facilities subject to strict safety requirements. Our technical department prepares the necessary documentation for the public-access facility (ERP) application: structural stability reports for grandstands, barrier layout plans, structural ballast calculations, M2 fire-retardant certification for tarps, and emergency access and evacuation plans. Our site managers regularly work with the safety committees of the region’s major municipalities.
For crowd management, we combine four types of barriers (Vauban for perimeter fencing, Héras for enhanced security, privacy panels for paid areas, and white barriers for VIP areas). This versatility is essential for festivals that combine fan zones, backstage areas, press areas, and production areas.

Why Our Teams Provide Support for the French Riviera’s Premier Cultural Events
Three factors set us apart. First, capacity: we can provide 25,000 grandstand seats and 1 km of barriers for a single event. Second, efficiency: we set up the Carnival Parade route in just a few days, which requires extremely precise logistics. Finally, our in-depth knowledge of venues along the French Riviera, from the Jardin Albert 1er to the Promenade des Anglais, including the Stade Charles-Ehrmann and Cap 3000. Frequently asked questions
Find answers to frequently asked questions about the logistical and technical organization of your cultural events on the French Riviera.
Can you provide equipment for a festival with more than 10,000 attendees?
Yes. Our inventory includes 25,000 seats in portable grandstands available simultaneously, supplemented by 2,000 m² of tents, 3,000 m² of flooring, and 1 km of barriers. This capacity allows us to fully equip the largest events on the French Riviera—such as the Nice Carnival Parade (10,000 seats) and summer festivals—without running out of stock.
How long does it take to set up the bleachers for a festival?
For a standard festival with a capacity of 1,000 to 5,000 people, allow 1 to 2 days for setup, depending on the complexity of the site. For exceptional setups such as the Nice Carnival or Jazz à Juan (multiple grandstands, dressing room trailers, catering tents), we allocate several days and work in parallel teams, including overnight shifts. A preliminary site survey confirms the final schedule.
Do you provide the documents for the ERP security file?
Yes. Our technical department provides the structural stability report for SAMIA grandstands, the layout plan, the ballast calculations, the M2 fire-resistant rating certificate for the fabric, the barrier layout plan, and the evacuation routes. Our site managers have extensive experience working with the safety committees of municipalities along the French Riviera.
Can you provide equipment for multiple festivals at the same time during peak season?
Yes. Our well-sized fleet and our 55-person staff during peak season allow us to handle several major events simultaneously between May and September (Jazz à Juan, regional summer festivals, and the upcoming Carnival). This is one of the ways we differ from national rental companies, which have to prioritize their markets.
Which cities do you regularly set up for festivals?
Nice (Carnival, Book Festival, Pool and Garden Show at the M.I.N), Cannes (Film Festival, MIPIM), Juan-les-Pins (Jazz à Juan), Menton (Lemon Festival), Fréjus (Zamna Festival), Roquette-sur-Var (Festin), and more generally, the entire French Riviera and the Var region. For festivals outside our area, we evaluate each project on a case-by-case basis.
