Prestadd CSR certification, a 6,000 m² warehouse in La Trinité, and partnerships with prestigious brands: this is our history and our expertise.

A family venture that began in Nice in the 1990s

A creation by Michel Martel

The story begins in the 1990s. Michel Martel founded a company in La Trinité, on the outskirts of Nice, specializing in the rental of event equipment for the first major events on the French Riviera. At a time when the French Riviera was establishing itself as a world-class destination, the company grew alongside the cultural, sporting, and institutional events that defined the region. This long history is now a rare competitive advantage in an industry where few companies can boast such extensive experience.

The takeover by Eric Tronconi in 2000

In 2000, Eric Tronconi took over the company and became its President and CEO. Under his leadership, the company became more professional and expanded its scope: in addition to its traditional public-sector clients (cities, metropolitan areas, and institutions), it began working with event agencies as subcontractors, wedding planners, caterers, and high-end private clients. The organization is structured into two parallel divisions, LT-Events and Martel-Events, under a single general management team, enabling it to cover all types of events.

The Road to Major International Events

Over the decades, Martel-LT Events has become a leading provider for major events on the French Riviera. Our equipment is regularly used at the Nice Carnival, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Cannes Film Festival, MIPIM, the Ironman World Championship in Nice, the Tour de France, the Juan-les-Pins Jazz Festival, the Lemon Festival in Menton, SailGP in Saint-Tropez, and the Gassin Show Jumping Competition. Our involvement in these international events has strengthened our technical expertise and our ability to meet demanding specifications.

About Martel-LT Events: 60 Years of Event Logistics in Nice and on the French Riviera

A team of 33 dedicated employees working year-round

Our strength lies in the stability and expertise of our teams. We have 33 full-time employees who have been with us for many years, ensuring a continuous transfer of know-how. During peak season (May through September), our workforce grows to 55 people thanks to a network of partner subcontractors and event technicians trained in our methods.

The agency’s organizational chart

The organization is structured around a general management team led by Eric Tronconi (CEO), two operational divisions (LT-Events and Martel-Events), and cross-functional departments that support both divisions.

The Services That Make Us Strong

The marketing and communications department, which has been in place for five years, oversees visual design, social media management, and SEO optimization for the grandsudevents.fr website. The production department handles end-to-end coordination: from the initial client consultation through to event management. The technical department, led by experienced site managers, handles venue scouting, setup, and teardown. The warehouse department ensures the availability of equipment at La Trinité, as well as maintenance and order fulfillment during peak season.

All trades receive ongoing training in event safety standards, which enables Martel-LT Events to provide the technical documentation required for the ERP safety files of major public events.

What We Do: Event Logistics Agency

We are not event organizers. We are the logistics agency that event agencies, wedding planners, caterers, luxury brands, and local governments rely on when it comes time to bring their projects to life. Tents, grandstands, flooring, furniture, signage, technical teams: we orchestrate the behind-the-scenes work that makes your event possible.

This distinction is intentional. It allows us to avoid competing with our agency clients and enables us to provide in-depth expertise in areas where others spread themselves too thin. For agencies looking for a reliable logistics partner, explore our dedicated offering.

Six chiffres qui résument notre savoir-faire

Beyond the numbers, it is the diversity of our client portfolio that demonstrates our expertise: luxury brands (LVMH, Chanel, Rolex, Netflix, Amazon, Vilebrequin), institutions (City of Nice, Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Area, Stade Louis II, Allianz Riviera), major events (Nice Carnival, Monaco Grand Prix, Cannes Film Festival, Juan-les-Pins Jazz Festival, Menton Lemon Festival, Tour de France, Iron Man, SailGP, Junior Eurovision).

Prestadd CSR Label: A Certified Environmental Commitment

Martel-LT Events holds the Prestadd CSR certification, a recognized standard for corporate social responsibility in the event services industry. This certification attests to our commitment in three areas: reducing our environmental footprint (managing construction site waste, optimizing delivery routes, reusing equipment), social responsibility (ongoing team training, employee retention, local hiring), and governance (transparency with clients and partners).

Beyond the certification, this commitment is reflected in our day-to-day practices: we maintain our equipment rather than constantly replacing it, our technical teams are local and have been with us for the long term, and we prioritize long-term partnerships with recognized manufacturers such as Roder for complex configurations.

About Martel-LT Events: 60 Years of Event Logistics in Nice and on the French Riviera

Our Regional Model: Synergy and Local Roots

In contrast to major national corporations like GL Events, we’ve chosen a different approach: that of a firmly rooted local player that brings together a regional ecosystem rather than centralizing operations. Our warehouse in La Trinité (a suburb of Nice) serves as the hub of a network of local partners who provide services on an as-needed basis at our job sites: decorators, florists, specialized electricians, and transport providers.

This model operates through a consortium of companies based on the French Riviera, with which we offer a comprehensive package at negotiated rates. The end client benefits from a single point of contact (Martel-LT Events) while gaining access to a comprehensive ecosystem of local expertise. This regional synergy has strengthened our position against national groups and allows us to offer a level of responsiveness that is rare on the French Riviera.
